The area surrounding the cabins is a nature lover's delight. The cabins are built along the forest fringe which not only provides magnificent bush land scenery but is also home to an abundance of native wildlife.

We are famous for our bird-life, particularly Rosellas and red-breasted king parrots which are active during the early morning and evening. There is a mob of kangaroos which have made the valley their home and they too can be seen moving through the property at dawn and dusk.

Shy bush wallabies can sometimes be spotted grazing around the eucalyptus forest fringe and a colony of bandicoots have recently returned to the valley. You can hand feed our pet animals and birds, fish for yabbies in the dam or simply sit on the side of the hill and watch "Shep" our Mareema sheepdog, keep a watchful eye over our flock of Coriedales. Even if you're not a nature buff you'll still be impressed by the unspoilt character of the place and appreciate the peace and quiet.
