King Parrot has abundance of native wildlife. We are famous for our bird –life, particularly rosellas and red-breasted king parrots. There is a mob of kangaroos which have made the valley their home, they can be seen moving through the property in the early morning and dusk. Shy bush wallabies can be spotted grazing around the eucalyptus forest fringe and a colony of bandicoots have recently returned to the valley.
We have 2 new additions to our family – 2 little irish donkeys, both in foal with the babies due in October/November. Their names are Lily and rosie and they love to be patted.
You can handfeed rocky our shetland Rocky, our horses Mip and Simmy, our alpacas Finta, Cisco and Pancho and our donkeys Lily and Rosie. From time to time you will see horses and other animals that have been rescued and have needed a good home to rest and recuperate.

King parrot is dog friendly and you are welcome to bring your dog. We do ask that you keep your dog on a lead when you are near the other animals, especially our wonderful native wildlife. We don’t allow dogs in the camping area because of the danger to wildlife.
