The Apartment is a cute little one bedroom space attached to the main house. It is ideal for a couple who are looking for more budget accommodation. It has its own separate entrance and car port and is upstairs with spectacular views over the valley. Sitting on the deck you can see eagles soaring over the valley, rainbows and a beautiful sunrise. in the afternoon the whole valley is bathed in a golden light as the setting suns rays are refracted up the valley.
The apartment has a large bedroom with a queen sized bed, a bathroom and a small sitting area with a kitchenette. It is a warm and cosy space with aircon and reverse cycle heating. The kitchenette has a microwave, electric jug, bar fridge and toaster. On the deck there is a barbecue.

These two delightful cottages are sought after by couples all year round. They feature polished recycled timbers and are both on three levels. Windmill has the living area on the upper level with an inviting deck area through double doors. The bathroom is on the middle level and a spacious double bedroom with a luxurious king size bed with crisp white sheets a warm doona on the lower level. Blackwood has the reverse with the bedroom on the upper level and the living area on the ground floor with double doors opening onto a lush lawn outdoor living area bordered by native bush. They both have outdoor tables with barbecues and an outdoor two person heated spa. The cottages accommodate 2 people.

Acquila cottage is the most private of the cottages. Upstairs it has 2 spacious bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate area with a double bunk opening onto a sunny deck (see photo). Downstairs there is the living area with the kitchen, a long dining table for everyone to sit in comfort, 2 comfortable couches and an armchair. There is a spacious bathroom and an extra toilet. This cottage suits two small families or two couples. It looks out over a beautiful grassy area with the forest on one side. Birds abound around this cottage and kangaroos are very close at dawn and dusk. There is an outdoor pavilion with a barbecue area. There are seats to sit and watch the friendly parrots and soak up the sunshine. Acquilla cottage accommodates 6 people.

Secluded and surrounding by gum trees, Bluegum is ideal for those who want to feel they are in the middle of the bush. Sitting on the highest point of the property this wonderful cottage is next to the King Parrot forest with a sunny aspect to a grassy lawn area. It is a split level recycled polished timber cottage with 3 bedrooms and two spacious bathrooms on the upper level and an open lounge and dining area with a fully self contained kitchen on the ground level. The dining area is spacious with a beautiful recycled timber table. The lounge room has 2 comfortable couches and a large armchair. This area opens onto the garden which has a gas barbecue and outdoor table with benches for seating. Relax and watch the birds and other wildlife from the outdoor seating in a lovely environment. Mannagum is a much loved and rambling 4 bedroom residence. Popular with family groups this cottage can accommodate 10 people in comfort. There are 3 king bedrooms and a large bedroom with 4 single beds, all with crisp white sheets and luxurious doonas and electric blankets for the cooler months. The spacious living area is supported by a very large fantastic kitchen equipped with all that you would require. The living area opens onto a big deck facing a beautiful part of the forest, highlighted by a very large Mannagum tree. The barbecue is on the deck and the living area extends out from the lounge room, making the most of this wonderful location with the forest views and the plethora of wild life. There are 2 big bathrooms. This cottage has wheelchair access.

The Lodge and Hall are available to cater for large groups of people and have two adjoining parts. The main part is the Lodge which has a large split level open plan living area which allows groups to interact socially in a fabulously spacious environment. This area has a commercial kitchen with a large display refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave and a commercial dishwasher. In the top level of the Lodge there are 3 double bedrooms with king size beds and 3 bathrooms. The lounge room has a reverse cycle air conditioner, a log fire, TV, VCR, CD player and pool table. . There are barbecues and outdoor seating. The whole complex has a long veranda overlooking the pristine Pennyroyal Valley with spectacular views in every direction.
The Hall is connected to the Lodge and is a versatile space that can be used for conventions, seminars, weddings or yoga retreats. It has just been recently renovated and has huge glass doors that concertina inwards to open the whole room to the view. It has an area of 12m x 9m, ideal for anything from a 50 person cocktail party to a 20 person yoga and meditation retreat. This area can also be used as a dormitory for 8 single beds, therefore 3 couples and their children can be accommodated comfortably. Large groups can book the Lodge as the meeting place and all or a combination of the other cottages for extra accommodation. For extra large groups, weddings etc the side Hall doors can open onto a marquee erected in the car park.
The 3 new permananet tents have finally been completed!! The tents are light and breezy with zip up windows on both sides overlooking the creek. With all new furniture and mattresses these tents are a great low budget option for those who don't want to pitch a tent.
The camping area is one of the highlights of the King Parrot property. It is in a natural clearing on the floor of the valley fringed by rain forest and Aquila creek. There is abundant wildlife and magical walks leaving from the campground through the rainforest to waterfalls and the national park. It is a very popular camping spot offering 3 pre erected tents and 4 campsites. There is a toilet and shower block with gas lighting and hot water. The pre erected tents have a double bed and two double bunks, table and deck chairs. There is a permanent camp-fireplace and barbecue area.
